Julie Wareham
Head Coach
Coach Julie lives in Mount Joy and has been involved in swimming practically all of her life. She swam competitively on an AAU team (very similar to USA swimming now) at Old Dominion University, in Norfolk, Virginia.
She has two daughters that swim on the team. Sydney swims in the Open age group and Morgan swims in the 14 and under age group. Sydney swims for Diplomat Swim Club through the winter months and Morgan plays soccer on the Rheems U14 Travel team. Coach Julie is also an assistant coach for Diplomat Swim Club during the winter and also gives private swimming lessons at the Hempfield Rec.

- Certified Stroke Technician
- Completed ASCA Levels 1 and 2
- Completed the written portion of the ASCA Level 3 course
- Assistant Swim Coach with Diplomat Swim Club for over 6 years
- Site Supervisor for Swim America
Lauren Malloy
Assistant Coach
Coach Lauren lives in Lancaster and is the Instructional Support teacher at Lancaster Catholic High School. She began swimming competitively when she was four years old for Locust Height Swim Team and just finished her career in February, 2012. Lauren swam for Trident Swim Club (now known as Diplomat Swim Club) for about 10 years and went on to swim at Kutztown University. At Kutztown, she studied Elementary and Special Education, and was a scholar-athlete while there.
Lauren coaches at Diplomat Swim Club in the winter and is a certified Swim America coach. She is extremely excited to be a part of the East Pete Swim Team and is looking forward to a fun summer!
